Liturgy Committee

The Liturgy Committee works closely with the Pastor in planning and implementing the parish liturgies, especially those Holyday celebrations of which we are so proud.

Hospitality and Fellowship Committee

The purpose of the Hospitality and Fellowship Committee is to focus on way’s to express a warm welcome to all who visit or belong to our community. This enables us to show each person who comes to St. Bernard that they are welcome and that we care about them.  We also want them to know that St. Bernard is a place where they can find a sense of belonging and acceptance.  Greeters are one of the ministries of the Hospitality and Fellowship Committee.

Liturgical Choir

Do you like to sing?  Come join the St. Bernard Liturgical Choir, we are seeking new members all the time.  All you need is the desire to sing and show up at our practices.  We invite all young and old to join us.  We sing at many liturgies including Christmas Eve Midnight Mass, and Christmas Day Mass and many other special masses. All voices are welcome as the choir goal is to continue to grow at St. Bernard. Practices are usually scheduled for Monday evenings.

Eucharistic Ministers

Our Eucharistic Ministers assist the Priest in the celebration of the Liturgy at one of the most sacred times of the Mass.  They minister to the community in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ.  This ministry is open to the women and men of our parish.  Those wishing to join this important ministry should contact the pastor.

Lectors

The Lector assists in proclaiming the Word of the Lord to the community during the Mass.  This ministry also demonstrates the involvement of the community in the Sacred Liturgy.  Women and men interested in getting involved in this special ministry should contact the pastor.

Servers

One of the wonderful opportunities open to the young members of our parish is the ministry of Liturgical Server.  These Servers assist the priest during the celebration of the liturgy in a special way.  Their presence provides an obvious enhancement to the Mass.

Greeters

The ministry of Greeter enhances the liturgy by welcoming all who come to join the community in celebrating the liturgy.  In addition, those members of the parish involved in this ministry provide a source of information for those visiting St. Bernard and those seeking to become members of our parish.
